About Meeting

We are glad to invite you to the 1st Kharkiv Welcome Meeting for Foreign Physics Students organized by IRE SPIE Stuent Chapter in Institute for Low Temperature Physics, Kharkiv, Ukraine, on 21 May 2021.

The Meeting is intended to be a platform for foreign students of local universities who are interested in natural sciences.

We encourage foreign students of local universities who are stuing optics, nanophysics, medical physics, materials science and related topics in condensed matter physics to take part in the Meeting.

The rich scientific program, poster presentations, career development workshop and entertaining content are waiting for you!

How to participate

Step 1
Select one of two forms of participation:

1 - Listener - attending all Meeting's sessions without presenting a report. Certificate of participation is included.

2 - Regular Participant - attending all Meeting's sessions, presenting your scientific results as a poster presentation, getting Abstract's Book with your one-page abstract. Certificate of participation is included.
Step 2
If you would like to participate as a Listener, you need to fill in the online registration form, and that's all!

If you would like to participate as a Regular Participant, please
- download the abstract Template.doc,
- make your abstract according to the template,
- fill in the online registration form and upload your abstract in *.doc format in the lowest field of the form.
Step 3
Visit the Institute for Low Temperature Physics in Kharkiv on 21 May 2021.

Please, take with you the document indicated in the registration form (Passport and/or Student Card).

The event is a good oppotunity to get new friends among locals and not only and improve your network in science community due to informal communication during coffe-breaks and poster sessions.
Useful advices and ideas
The event's program presents career development and scientific popular lectures from leading experts in the conference fields. Additionally Regular Participants will be able to present their scientific results as poster presentations and receive feedback from experts, as well as the abstracts publication in the Book of Abstracts.
